Mr Architect has returned after two weeks with a new set of plans of the new extension. Click on the the photo above to see all the 3D images, or this link to see a slideshow of them all.

Will work out a way to upload the entire plans at some point.

Back on line again

Please excuse the break in service, but some thoughtful soul took it upon themselves to enter the Burrow and make off with our laptop (as well as rachel's handbag).

Nice to have a new (improved) laptop but could have done without the hassle factor.

Back Home

After a week of studying in Birmingham, including a couple of nights staying over there for the sake of passing exams, I am finally back in the Burrow. Feels good. Must never leave again, clearly.

We have also experienced a return visitor this week in the shape of my sister Karen. She has fallen under the influence of the Burrow, which se describes as having a "good vibe". I like that.

Car Wars

The Burrow has been suffering for the continued presence of a very large and ugly car right outside it. It doesn't appear to have moved since it was put there. Today I noticed someone had put this on the windscreen

Although it doesn't take the car away it gave me a warm glow to think there are other people out there that hate these enormous, ugly vehicles as much as I do

Life on Mars

Apparently the architect isn't dead as Rachel spoke to him yesterday. This is good news for the project. Not only that, but he has been hard at work designing the new-look Burrow! We have a meeting arranged for 14 November (would have been sooner but I'm away on a course) where we get to see a 3D model of his plans so far. Excitement levels rising again!
