Some progress

Rachel took matters into her own hands and called Mr Architect this week to find out what is going on. Well, it sounds like some work has been happening, although The Council had not responded to the permitted development enquiry (although one does wonder when they were actually asked).

So, we have a meeting a week on Friday to start looking at detailed design. Which in itself is a confusing concept. Do we say where we want the mugs to hang or simple that we want a big bath? I guess 'detailed' is whatever you take it to mean. It should mean we can start setting out a timetable for the week and then finding out where the hell to live for 4 months.

"So how is the extension going?"

...goes the familiar question.

"Actually, we haven't a clue" we answer pathetically.

I guess we've left Mr Architect to his own devices for a little too long. He was going to check out the whole permitted development thing with the Council and then get back to us on the detailed design. Well, he sent us a bill at least!
