All Systems Go!!!

The idea of this blog is to keep a record of progress on changes to The Burrow (our house) and what happens to us on the way. Maybe a naff idea but I thought it would be a good way for us to see the highs and lows of the project once its done.

Last night we came home to find a letter from our architect confirming he's ready to start work for us. Stage one is to carry out a survey of The Burrow. This should happen later this month.

House is not actually called "The Burrow". That is it doesn't have one of those naff bits of wood with dodgy letters carved into it a la 'Dunroamin' or even worse (in our near vicinity) "Suitsus". Yuk!



No, burrow for us means bolt hole or sanctuary. The place we retreat to after a hard days work (or shopping in my case), to slam the door on the world outside, restore ourselves and our energy levels, and emerge from once again, refreshed and ready to go!

But what will happen when our burrow is disturbed by builders and rubble? A temporary burrow will be required.
